The top picture is a view from the top of a hill called Broadhead Noddle, high above the Castleshaw valley overlooking the Upper reservoir and the upper end of Harrop Edge. The site of the Roman Fort is just at the far side of the reservoir, across the lane.
As an aside, the name Broadhead is a Yorkshire name whose origins are from this area.

The bottom picture is a view from the top of the ridge above Castleshaw Lower reservoir. Across the valley is the ridge known as Harrop Edge.
